Leon Scott, 72, died Jan. 8, 2024, at his home in Great Bend, Kan.  He was born Aug. 14, 1951, in Montezuma, Kan., the son of Everett L. and Irma J. (Waggoner) Scott. Leon attended school in Uttica, Kan. They moved to Hoisington in 1970. Leon enjoyed playing video games and watching cartoons. He also enjoyed fishing and singing karaoke.

He is survived by two brothers, Don Scott and wife Peggy of Great Bend, and Tom Scott of Hoisington; three sisters, Emma Linsner of Great Bend, Shirley Taylor and husband Raymond of Jay, Okla., and Ruby Brox and husband Baxter of Amarillo, Texas; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Randy Scott and Everett Scott, Jr.
