Leonard E. Miller Jr., 61, died July 8 at his home in Great Bend. Born Dec. 12, 1950 in Great Bend, he was the son of Leonard Jean and Edna (Kathman) Miller. A lifetime resident of Great Bend, he was a siding installer for Southard Corporation, worked at EQ Muffler and was a handyman for Joe Mayers.
Survivors include father, Leonard J. Miller of Great Bend; his mother, Edna Schneweis of Great Bend; three brothers, Kenny Miller and wife his Harlene and James Miller, both of Great Bend and Curtis Miller and his wife Linda of Salina; three sisters, Judy Blanchard and her husband Larry of Kansas City, Mo., Mary Ramsey and her husband Mike of Lyons and Sharon Miller and her husband Jeff of Great Bend; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Richard Schneweis; and one sister, Annette Pellett.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Father Anthony Columba Ekanem officiating. A Vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Bryant Funeral Home. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to the Leonard E.
