LeRoy Bashor

WICHITA — Bashor, C. LeRoy, 74, passed away on Oct. 11. He was a proud Vietnam veteran serving 10 years in the United States Navy. Following the military he graduated Fort Hays State University with a master’s degree in psychology. He was a retired school psychologist for USD 428 in Great Bend.
Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Terry; children, Jennifer (Tim) Lira and Jared Bashor; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Charles (Rachel) Peak and Leona (Roger) Chaffee; two nephews; and four nieces.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Baker Funeral Home Chapel, in Wichita. Memorials may be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project c/o the VA Regional office P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Ks. 66675.
