Loventrice C. Lovey Hutter

HUTCHINSON--Loventrice C. “Lovey” Hutter, 88, died July 16 at Hester Care Center in Hutchinson.  Born Aug. 16, 1923, in Quitman, Ark., she was the daughter of James Frank and Eva Lena Bevins Hooten.
Lovey was a member of First church of the Nazarene and was always volunteering in numerous organizations.  
Survivors include her children, Larry Phelps andwife Bonnie of Prophetstown, Ill., Kathleen Smith and husband Blake of Arroyo Grand, Calif., and Deborah Issinghoff and husband Chad of Hutchinson; step-children, Tom Hutter and wife Carey, John Hutter Jr., and Clint Hutter; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, Dick Phelps, Chester Dyer, and John Hutter; son James Phelps; and grandsons, Brandon Phelps and Kyle Issinghoff.  
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Bones Nay officiating.  Private family inurnment will be at a later date.  Cremation has taken place.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Homecare of Reno County or Hester Care, North Hall in Memory of Lovey Hutter, in  care of the mortuary.  Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday through Thursday.  Visit www.elliottmortuary.com to leave a condolence.
