CLAYTON — Lynette Dea Gallentine, 55, passed away Nov. 19, 2021, at OU Health - University Of Oklahoma Medical Center, Oklahoma City, Okla. She was born Oct. 25, 1966, in Great Bend, to Carl and Dolores (Bauer) Maddy. Lynette married Jerry Gallentine June 30, 2018, in Oberlin.
Lynette, a resident of Clayton since 2018 coming from Barton County, was a long time devoted nurse. She had recently worked at Logan Manor, Logan, previously working at Diversicare, Larned, Clara Barton Hospital, Hoisington, and The Children’s Clinic, CKMC, and Great Bend Health and Rehabilitation, all of Great Bend. She enjoyed Mickey Mouse collectibles and decorating, but especially cherished her time with family and her wiener dog Gretta.
Survivors include her husband Jerry of the home; parents, Carl and Dolores Maddy of Logan; one son, Gannon Radenberg and his companion Brooke Oleson of Lenexa; one daughter, Taryn Mitchell and husband Jack of Great Bend; one granddaughter, Emersyn Mitchell; two brothers, Steven Maddy and wife Clairissa of Wichita, and Mike Maddy of Larned; one sister, Terri Kennard of Wichita; step son, Stephen Gallentine of Ashland, Neb.; and step daughter, Brooke Gallentine of Perry, Ga.
Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021, at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington, with Pastor Tim Singleton presiding. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. Memorials may be given to American Legion Auxiliary Post 286, in care of Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, PO Box 146, Hoisington, KS 67544.
