Marcella Corinne Brin 1952 - 2022

Marcella Corinne Brin, 69, passed away on July 29, 2022, peacefully at her home in Great Bend, Kan. She was born on September 16, 1952, in Hays, Kan., to Adrian and Dorothy (Harris) Tremblay. On October 17, 1975, Marcella married Martin Brin in Hill City, Kan. He survives.

Coming from Hill City then Bazine, Marcella was a Great Bend resident for the past 22 years. She worked in the Hill City School cafeteria and the Cable Office in Plainville, before dedicating the last 30+ years to being a homemaker. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima. Marcella enjoyed gardening, rescuing all animals, fishing, working with kids and the elderly, baking and canning, but especially cherished her time with family.

Survivors include her husband of the home; two sons, Larry of Hays, Kan., and Anthony (Shannon) of Salina, Kan.; two daughters, Madeline (Michael) Bagley of Clovis, N.M. and Michelle (Jeff) Murphy of Solomon, Kan.; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Leland (Debra) Tremblay; two sisters, Adrenne [Andie] (Bob) Bell and Carol (Jerry) Nickelson; a mother-in-law, Elaine Brin; three brothers-in-law, Arlen (Linda), David (Kay), and Galen Brin; two sisters-in-law, Sheri Webb and Mary Meade; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and father-in-law.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Services will be set at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to Prince of Peace Parish or Spiritual Bouquets, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
