KINSLEY — Marcielle Parker, 90, died Feb. 24 at Edwards County Hospital in Kinsley. She was born Aug. 21, 1920, at Kinsley, the daughter of Charles E. and Eva Hildenbrand Countryman. She married Robert L. Parker in September of 1967 at Elkhart. He died Dec. 25, 2004. A resident of Kinsley, she was a teacher.
Mrs. Parker was a member of KNEA, KPTA and the Oklahoma Teachers Association.
Survivors include two sons, Gerald Proberts, Wamsutter, Wyo., and Gary Proberts, Kinsley; two stepdaughters, Beverly Edgemon, Terrell, Texas, and Barbara Walters, Tulsa, Okla.; 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Kinsley United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dennis Kuder officiating. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Kinsley. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to noon Monday at McKillip Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to Medicalodge, in care of the funeral home.
