Marian Louise Snyder, 90, of Hutchinson, died May 14, 2020, at Hospice House Hutchinson. She was born November 26, 1929, in Hutchinson, to Allen and Anna (Goertzen) Teter.
Marian was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to be around family and cared for them well. Marian enjoyed flower gardening, yard work, birds, and serving at her church. She was an active and devoted member of Bethany Church of the Nazarene in Hutchinson.
On August 24, 1946, she married Charles E. Snyder, in Hutchinson. They shared 39 years of marriage before he passed on January 19, 1986.
Marian is survived by: sons, Mike (Rhonda) Snyder, Great Bend, Randy (Jan) Snyder, Hutchinson; daughter-in-law, Sharon Snyder, McPherson; grandchildren, Stacy Snyder (Odessa), Terry Snyder (Tina), Tim Snyder (Jessica), Clinton Snyder (Keri), Lindsey Jacobus (Dylan); sister, Phyllis Morgan (Jim), Hutchinson; 14 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Charles Snyder; son, Bill Snyder; sister, Betty Robinson; and brothers, Jerry and Bobby Teter.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, May 18, 2020, at Bethany Church of the Nazarene, 408 Kent Road, Hutchinson, with Pastor Jay Bessmer officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park. The service is public, however those attending will be asked to follow social distancing protocol in accordance with the Kansas state guidelines. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, at Elliott Mortuary.
