LARNED — Marie E. Roberson, 79, passed away March 10, 2016, at Hays Medical Center. Born April 30, 1936, in California, Mo., she was the daughter of Clarence and Delora Miller Smith. On Oct. 19, 1952, she married Norman Roberson in Great Bend. He survives. A longtime area resident, she was a homemaker.
Mrs. Roberson was of the Christian faith. She was a Girl Scout Leader.
Other survivors include, a son, Rex Roberson (Sherry), of Ellinwood; three daughters, Linda Anderson (Roger), of Inman, Kathy Morgan (Jim), of Wichita and Mary Roberson (John), of Blythe, Calif.; a sister, Juanita Bronson of Claremore, Okla.; 20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Billy Jo Verdot; and two grandchildren, Sherry Robinson and Chad Roberson
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Bob Yates presiding. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 1 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, at the mortuary. Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.
