Marie T. Jilg 1921 - 2014

OLMITZ – Marie T. Jilg, 93, went home to the Lord on March 6, 2014 at the Oxford at Broadmoor, Wichita.
She was born Jan. 27, 1921 at Olmitz, the daughter of John Bartonek.
A homemaker, Mrs. Jilg was a lifetime Olmitz resident. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and the Altar Society, both of Olmitz.
She was preceded in death was her first husband Clarence Schreiber and together they had two daughters who survive her — Mary Ann Shaft, Wichita and Carol Barreiro and her husband Andres of Fayetteville, NY.  
Also surviving are four granddaughters, a great grandson, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In later years, she married Aaron Jilg who also preceded her in passing.  
A Memorial Service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Ann Catholic Church in Olmitz with Father Anselm Eke officiating. Inurnment will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Olmitz. There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place.
