PHILLIPSBURG — Marilee Ann DeBey, 85, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017, at the Phillips County Retirement Center in Phillipsburg. She was born April 10, 1932, in Stockton, the daughter of Orville Kenworthy and Mildred Lewin-Odle. A Phillipsburg resident, she was a homemaker.
She married Edward DeBey on May 19, 1950, in Stockton. He passed away Feb. 19, 2008.
Survivors include her son Tom DeBey and wife Evelyn of Phillipsburg; daughter Linda Mai of Great Bend; stepbrother Gary Barry of Indiola, Iowa; stepsister Ada Strutt of Stockton; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, 1115 2nd St., Phillipsburg, with Pastor Deb Harvey officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Phillips County. Mrs. DeBey will lie in state from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the funeral chapel.
