HUDSON — Marilyn E. Teichmann, 82, died June 4, 2016, at her home. Born Jan. 9, 1934, in Great Bend, she was the daughter of Jesse and Blanche Danford Walter. In 1951, she graduated from Great Bend High School. On Sept. 26, 1954, she married Merle Teichmann at Hudson. She was a secretary/clerk for Ida Long Goodman Library and was a dedicated farm wife.
Mrs. Teichmann was a member of Trinity Community Church.
Survivors include, her husband, Merle; children, Terri DeWerff and husband Wayne, Lori Hurst and husband Aaron, and Shawn Teichmann and wife Judy; and seven grandchildren, Seth DeWerff, Kristi DeWerff, Jessica Zongker, Caleb Hurst, Marissa Hurst, Casey Teichmann and Cody Teichmann. She was preceded in death by brother, Marlin Walter; and two sisters, Marlene Smith and Darlene Drach.
Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at Trinity Community Church in Hudson. Private burial of the ashes will be at Trinity Cemetery in Hudson. Memorials are suggested to the Trinity Community Church in care of the funeral home.
