HOLYROOD — Mark Lynn Folk, 56, passed away of an aneurism Sept. 11, at his residence in Holyrood. He was born March 10, 1958, in Ellsworth to Max and Beverly (Cron) Folk. A lifetime resident of Holyrood, he was a bookkeeper and office manager for Folk Well and Lease.
Mark was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Holyrood.
Survivors include his father Max Folk of Holyrood, mother Beverly Jewell of Claflin, sister Debbie Oeser and husband Chris of Claflin, sister Sherry DeWerff and husband Jeff of Ellinwood, brother Mike Folk and wife Cherie of Satanta, sister Vicki Miller and husband Butch of Claflin, several nieces and nephews and great- nieces and nephews.
A memorial graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ Cemetery, Holyrood. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holyrood Fire Dept. or St. Jude’s Cancer Research Center, in care of Parsons Funeral Home.
