Max G. Fleming

HOLYROOD — Max G. Fleming, 68, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2020 in Hutchinson. He was born June 2, 1952 in Ellsworth to David L. and Thelma M. (Keehner) Fleming.

Max was a longtime resident of Ellsworth County. He was a hoist operator at Independent Salt for 41 years. He married Pam Bisterfeldt Wilson on Nov. 30, 1991 in Holyrood. 

Max is survived by his wife Pam Fleming of Holyrood; daughter, Christy Kratzer (Steve) of Wichita; son, Lyle Fleming (Marsha) of Salina; daughter, Cindy Rocha (Javier) of Salina; step-son, Jason Wilson (Jenn) of Lawrence; step-daughter, Jennifer Wilson of Great Bend; grandchildren, Maci, Derek, Gabriel, and Carson; step-grandchildren, Jade, Colton, Rylie, Jordayn, Kobi, Kalib, Chandler, Genevieve, and Pureity; great granddaughters, Serenity and Kyleigh; brothers, Jim Fleming (Jane) of Lindsborg, Paul Fleming (Doyne) of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Robert Fleming (Nancy) of Wichita; and sister, Edith Fleming of Salina. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Ruth Fleming.

Visitation: 1-8 p.m., Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth, with family present 6-8 p.m. Funeral service: 10 a.m., Friday, June 26, 2020 at Concordia Lutheran Church, Hoisington with burial following in Buckeye Cemetery, rural Kanopolis.
