Maxine “Max” Sherman, 66, passed away Jan. 29, 2023 at KU Med Center in Kansas City, Kan. Maxine was born April 26, 1956 at Gove County Hospital in Quinter, Kan. to Titus and Matilda (Herzog) Kuntz. Maxine was a graduate of Wheatland High School in Grainfield and continued education at Barton County College in Great Bend, Kan. Maxine and Don were blessed with two children who meant more to her than anyone could imagine. Raising children and being so close to them both throughout their lives gave her happiness. Two precious grandchildren from daughter Audrey made her dreams come true. Maxine’s life was complete being close and helping with the grandchildren. She is now sitting next to her son, Andrew, in heaven.
