Melinda Suzanne Meyer 1964 - 2013

Melinda Suzanne Meyer, 49, died Feb. 2 at her home in Great Bend. Born Jan. 23, 1964 in La Crosse, she was the daughter of Richard and Twila (Basgall) Krom. A lifetime resident of Great Bend, she was the former owner of Mel’s Antiques.
Ms. Meyer was a member of the Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include her father, Richard Krom of Great Bend; one son, Lane Meyer and his wife Nikki, of Great Bend; one daughter, Lynee Alloway and her husband Dustin of Otis; one brother, Bruce Krom and his wife Veronica, of Great Bend; half-sister, Elizabeth Kuhlman of New Castle, Okla.; step-sister, Sue Gowdy and her husband Dan, of Great Bend; four grandchildren, Abbie Meyer, Westin Meyer, Taylor Alloway, and Gavin Alloway; and one nephew, Jacob Krom. She was preceded in death by her mother, Twila Franzmathes; one brother, Phillip Krom; one step brother, Jack Kasselman; and her step mother, Velta Krom.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Great Bend with the Rev. Dick Ogle officiating. Friends may visit from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m., on Wednesday at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association, in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net
