ANTHONY — Melvin Eugene Riedel was born May 30, 1941, the son of Bernard and Anna Riedel. He resided in Olmitz until 1972, when he moved to Anthony to manage the Bailly’s Farm Supply Store. On Dec. 26, 2016, Melvin passed away at Anthony.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ann Mantz. He is survived by his three children, Beverly Seachris and Cynthia Ash, both of Anthony, and Michael Riedel of Great Bend.
Memorial graveside service will be Saturday, July 29, at 11 a.m. at the Olmitz Cemetery.
