Michael J. Desmarteau, 62, passed away Jan. 27th, 2022. He was born July 9th, 1959, to and preceded by Delmar (Jerry) and Joyce (Joann) Desmarteau.

He is survived by his wife Rebecca (Herrman) Desmarteau; brother Larry Desmarteau; sister Vicki Speer; his uncle and aunt, Larry and Reva Brown; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. 

Mike and Rebecca were married July 14th, 2018 and lived a happy life on Gardner lake. His biggest enjoyment was letting all the many family kids drive his boat.

Mike worked in the automobile repair business, after getting his certification he went to work for the Coop company in Ellinwood, Kan. and then went to work for Walmart in the automotive department and was promoted to Department Manager.

A graveside service will be held with friends and family later this spring in Penokee, Kan. date to be announced.
