SALINA — Mrs. Jo Lyn Bartz, 51, of Salina passed away Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011 at Via Christi- St. Francis in Wichita.
She was born on Aug. 24, 1960, at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., the daughter of Charles T. Woodard and Jo Ann (Woolsey) Tally. She was the wife of Randy Bartz. Jo Lyn earned an associate degree from New Mexico State University.
Mrs. Bartz was a member of the First Christian Church in both Great Bend and Salina, and a past member of the International Order of Rainbow and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband, Randy, of the home; a daughter, Darcy (Daniel) Leech, Salina; mother, Jo Ann Tally; grandmother, Grace Woolsey; and grandson, Eli Ryan Leech. She was preceded in death by her father; a son, Dustin R. Bartz; grandfather, Donald Woolsey; and a brother, Robert Woodard.
Funeral services are scheduled at 2 p.m. on  Friday, Sept. 23 at the First Christian Church in Salina, with the Rev. Greg Rea officiating. Interment will follow the funeral at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, where balloons will be released for Jo Lyn and her son, Dustin Ryan Bartz, who passed away Sept. 23, 2002 and is buried nearby.
Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22 at Carlson Geisendorf Funeral Home. Family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m., and a rosary will be recited at seven.
