SALINA — Norma Jean Olsson, 81, went to be with her Lord on Oct. 20, 2018, in Salina. She was born April 19, 1937, in Minneapolis, Kan., the daughter of Walter and Wavie (Wolf) Wesley. Among other ventures and before her retirement, Jean was a commercial and residential decorating business owner in Great Bend.
She is preceded in death by her son, Greg Hartle; a sister, Irene Duval; and a grandson, Zachary Phillips. She is survived by her husband, Conrad, of the home; her sons, David (Ina) Olsson, Centennial, Colo., Alan (Varlerie) Hartle, Cary, N.C., and Erik (Ellen) Olsson, Winfield, Kan.; and her daughters, Susan (Kent) Brown, Keller, Texas and Cyndi (Joel) Phillips, Baldwin City, Kan. She has 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday morning, Oct. 25, 2018, at the First Covenant Church, Salina. Burial will be in the Lyons City Cemetery, Lyons, Kan. Friends may call at the Ryan Mortuary on Wednesday, Oct. 24, from 4 until 8 p.m. where the family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. that evening.
