JETMORE — Norman Olson, 64, died Oct. 4 at his home in Jetmore. Born Sept. 29, 1946, in Dodge City, he was the son of Carl and Velma Anderson Olson. A lifetime area resident, he was a farmer.
Mr. Olson was a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church, and he was on the board of directors for Farmers State Bank, both in Jetmore.
Survivors include a brother, Stacy and wife Marla Olson of Jetmore; a nephew, Derek and wife Katie Olson; two nieces, Carla Lowry and Connie Olson; and four grandnieces, Zoe Lowry, Sophie Lowry, Caroline Olson and Shelby Olson. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Jetmore. Vigil service will be 7 p.m. today at the church. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Fairmount Cemetery in Jetmore.
