O’Linda E. Orr, 99, died April 5, 2014 at the Pawnee Valley Community Hospital in Larned. Born March 27, 1915 in Susank, she was the daughter of Peter and Katrina (Bitter) Eichman. In 1942, she married William E. Orr in Wichita. He died in 1956. A Great Bend resident since 2000, living in California from 1970 to 2000, she was a beauty operator.
Mrs. Orr was a member of the Concordia Lutheran Church in Hoisington.
Survivors include a cousin, Brian Bitter of Hoisington. She was preceded in death by a son, Dennis F. Orr.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at the Hoisington Cemetery with Pastor Garry Dassow officiating. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to the Golden Belt Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
