LACROSSE — Opal R. West Andrews, 89, died May 21, 2013 at Blue Valley Lutheran Homes in Hebron, Neb.
Born June 10, 1923, in Rozel, she was the daughter of John and Louise (Josefiak) Seba. She attended school in Rozel and graduated from Rozel High School in May of 1941. On July 31, 1941, she married Marven Harry West in La Crosse.
Mrs. West Andrews was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church of Rush Center.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry West, Long Beach, Miss.; and Stan West, Kearney, Neb.; a daughter, Rhonda Starbuck, Hebron, Neb.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Seba and Louise Josefiak Seba; her husband, Marven Harry West; five brothers, Erwin Seba, Raymond Seba, Leonard Seba, Arlyn Seba, and Wayne Seba; and one grandchild, Mary Ann West.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Janousek Funeral Home, with the Reverend Patricia Reep officiating. Interment will be at the La Crosse City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Rush County Memorial Hospital in care of the funeral home.
