ELLINWOOD — Patricia Ann Evers, 81, died March 27 at Great Bend Regional Hospital, Great Bend. She was born Dec. 14, 1932, at Great Bend, the daughter of Clarence Harve and Bernadine (Ericks) Johnson. She married Earl Otis Evers June 10, 1951, at Great Bend. He died Jan. 3, 2000. A lifetime Barton County resident, Pat was a clerk, secretary and homemaker.
She was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ, Ellinwood and Fort Zarah EHU.
Survivors include one son, Daryl Evers and his wife Deb of Olathe; three daughters, Carol Lang of Ellinwood, Susan Urban and her husband Darrel of Bison, and Janet Stones and her husband Mark of Broken Bow, Neb.; one daughter-in-law, Margaret Evers, Great Bend; one sister, Nina Reed and husband Jerry of Soldier; two brothers, Harve Johnson and his wife Roberta of Hutchinson, and Clarence D. “C. D.” Johnson and his wife Jolene of Great Bend; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Lynn Evers.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, March 31, at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Ellinwood with Pastor Debra Rains, officiant. Interment will be at Great Bend Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday at Bryant Funeral Home.
