BRIGHTON, Colo. — Patricia (Pat) Graf, 82, died suddenly at Ridgeview Post Acute Center on Sept. 14, 2023. She was diagnosed with dementia in 2013. Pat was born Aug. 16, 1941 in Quinter, Kan., the daughter of Balthazor (Bill) and Angela (VonLintel) Richmeier.  

Pat was homeschooled prior to the 4th grade due to being bedridden with Rheumatic Fever. She graduated from Great Bend (KS) High School, class of 1960. After graduation she moved to the Denver, Colo. area where she worked for Russell Stover Candies Co. She returned to Kansas and married Arsenius Graf in July 1964. Together they had one son, Patrick. Pat retired after over 20 years of service from the Brighton School District 27J as Head Custodian of Henderson Elementary in Colorado. After retirement she worked part-time at Costco as a food sample distributor. She and her husband loved to travel and do artistic projects together. Pat was a member of VFW and Elks Lodge in Brighton, Colo. along with St Augustine Church in Brighton and Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Northglenn, Colo. Pat was also a member of TOPS before her illness. 

Pat was a very talented artist and had four of her watercolor scene’s auctioned off at the Alzheimer’s Foundation fundraiser. In addition to painting, she spent much of her spare time building and furnishing miniature doll houses. 

She was predeceased by her Husband Arsenius; son Patrick; parents Bill and Angela Richmeier; brothers, R. Valerian, Francis (Frank), Gerald, and William; her sisters: Agnes Geist, Margaret (Marge) Mealer, and Rosalie Urban. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Sarah Graf; grandsons Owen and Elliot Graf; sisters, Sophie Breit, Jean Graf, and Roberta Rietcheck; along with numerous nieces and nephews. 

Services: Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 11385 Grant Drive, Northglenn, CO 80233 

Rosary and Eulogy: Thursday, Sept. 28th, 6 p.m.

Funeral Mass: Friday Sept. 29, 11 a.m.
