TULSA, Okla. — Patrick James O’Connell was born in Wichita on Nov. 5, 1947 to Winifred and Mike O’Connell. He died in Tulsa, Okla. on Nov. 9, 2015.
Pat was a graduate of Kapaun High School in Wichita Kansas in 1965. He went on to study at Wichita State University and then to serve his country as a Marine in Vietnam. He was a member of the 1st Division, 1st Battalion, 7th Marines, Charley Company in Vietnam from 1968-69.
