Patty Sue Mauler 1947 - 2015

SHAWNEE — Patty Sue Mauler, 68, died on Nov. 9, 2015, at her home. Born Feb. 26, 1947, in Lafayette Township, Mo., she was the daughter of Paul and Helen (Riley) Stagner. She graduated from high school in Faucett, Mo., and attended Missouri Western College. She was employed at Guys Foods in Liberty, Mo., for several years and retired in 2012 from Coca Cola.
Patty was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
Survivors include by her husband of 20 years Ken Mauler; son Justin Johnson; stepdaughters Sandy Mauler, Sonya Linn, Sheila Metoyer and Amy Liles; brothers Don Stagner, Larry Stagner and Dale Stagner; a sister, Lois Madinger; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Betty Wilczenski and Wilma Shaw; an infant brother; and twin grandsons, Jacob and Isaac.
Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 12800 W. 75th St. in Shawnee. Visitation will be held from  9-10 a.m., prior to service. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Patty’s memory to Crossroads Hospice, St. Luke’s Hospice House or to Ken Mauler for Ken to distribute to other charities that were close to Patty’s heart.
