MUSKOGEE, Okla.— Pauline Nuss Endicott, 96, a child of the Triune God, died peacefully at her home in Muskogee, Okla.  She was born September 25, 1916 in Ellinwood to Johann George Nuss and Elizabeth Galliart Nuss who were German immigrants from Russia.  Pauline was the youngest of eight children.
Pauline attended Hutchinson Business College following graduation from high school and was working in Dallas, Texas when she met William Eugene “Gene” Endicott and they were married May 22, 1938 in Gene’s hometown of Abilene.  She and Gene lived in Hutchinson and Joplin, Mo. and then relocated with Acme Paint Company to Muskogee, Okla.  They had two sons William George Endicott who died in 1976 and James C. Endicott.  Gene died in September of 1990.  They were married for 52 years.
Pauline married Neil F. Anderson in October 1997, a school classmate from Ellinwood, after renewing contact with him at a “Gathering of the Eagles” high school reunion in Ellinwood.
Neil died in December 2006 in Phoenix, Arizona.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law Jennifer Jane Endicott, granddaughter Andrea Langford and great-grandson Landry Langford all
of Edmond, Okla.   She is also survived by her son James Endicott and wife Laura and two granddaughters; Allison Porter and her husband Robert and great granddaughter Hayden all of Edmond, Okla. and Dianna Endicott of Tulsa, Okla.   Surviving niece and nephews include Sammye Romine of Tulsa, Okla., Norman Thorson of Tulsa, Okla. and Edward Thorson of Dallas, Texas.  She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
The family gives special thanks to Vera Bowline, Lois Staton and to the caregivers from Stay Home Services including Mona, Vanessa, Angela, Mary, Evelyn, Cheryl and Esther.
Memorials can be made to First Lutheran Church, 428 East Broadway, Muskogee, OK 74403.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21, at Foster-Petering Funeral Home.   Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 22 at First Lutheran Church with Pastor Wayne Schuett officiating.  Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
