Peggy Lynn Crowe, 58, died Sept. 16 at her home in Great Bend. Born May 4, 1956, in Great Bend, she was the daughter of Johnnie Douglas and Marie (Griffith) Crowe. A lifetime resident of Great Bend, she was an occupational therapist at Clara Barton Hospital.
Survivors include one son, Jared Scheck and his wife Brandi of Hoisington; one daughter, Melissa Scheck of Hoisington; two sisters, Brenda Crowe of Kansas City, Mo., and Lavella Mullen of Salina; and five grandchildren, Leah Graham, Korbin Welcher, Parker Scheck, Conner Scheck and Piper Scheck. She was preceded in death by one brother, Johnnie “Doug” Crowe.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at Bryant Funeral Home with Pastor Don Paden officiating. Inurnment will be at the Great Bend Cemetery. Cremation has taken place. Friends may sign the register from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday at Bryant Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to ElderCare or Golden Belt Home Health and Hospice or Grandchildren’s Education Fund, in care of the funeral home.
