Ralph Eugene Churchman    1942 - 2015

SALINA — Ralph Eugene Churchman, 72, passed away Oct. 24, 2015. Born Dec. 9, 1942, in Decatur, Ill., he was the son of the Deloris E. (Dillow) and Ralph L. Churchman. On Oct. 21, 1967, he married Karen Lichter in Olmitz. He worked for Leon Dinkel for over 30 years and then started Excel Security Systems in 2000.
Mr. Churchman was a member of the Salina Breakfast Ambucs, Sheriffs Mounted Patrol and Rescue Squad, and the Salina Homebuilders Association Survivors include his wife Karen of the home; two daughters, Kimberly Mick and husband John, of Salina, and Debie Nickelson and husband  Troy, of Assaria; and four grandchildren, Madison, Kennedy, Evan, and Ian. He is preceded in death by his sister, Marcia Koch.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on today at First Covenant Church, 2625 E. Magnolia in Salina. Burial will follow at Crown Point Cemetery in Culver.
