Randy Lee Boxberger, age 61, passed away on Oct. 18, 2021, in Grapevine, Texas, from complications of COVID. He was born on Dec. 19, 1959, the son of Valeria (Vicki) Boxberger and the late, Arlyn Boxberger.
He is survived by his mother, Vicki of Great Bend; his wife, Cherie’ of Shady Shores, Texas; and daughters, Megan (fiancé-Ashton Kendall) of Plano, Texas and Erin of Craftsbury, Vt.
Randy grew up in Great Bend, Kan., an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He played American Legion Baseball. As the only son, nephew, grandson he was very popular among his family members and everyone followed the rule – “No Christmas Paper.”
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorial graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021, at Fairview Cemetery in Galatia, Reverend Wayne Baldyga presiding. A reception will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Galatia.
