CONCORDIA — Raymond A. Franklin, 80, of Concordia passed away April 18 at the Salina Regional Health Center in Salina. He was born Jan. 14, 1932, in Saline County.
He was a salesman for Superior Supply and a pastor. He was a minister of music at Faith Baptist Church in Concordia.
Survivors include his wife, Luella Franklin of Concordia; a son, the Rev. Kevin Franklin of Great Bend; two brothers, Charles L. of Salem, Ore., and Lewis B. Franklin of Salina; seven grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; six stepchildren; and several step-grand and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Eva E. Franklin in 1997, his parents, Ernest C. and Mabel (Ashman) Franklin; a brother, Clarence Franklin; and a son, Charles R. Franklin.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ray Avenue Baptist Church, 2801 E. Ray, Salina,  67401, with the Revs. Kevin Franklin, Rex Fuller and Rick Franklin, presiding. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, with family present from 3-5 p.m., at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E.
