BURDETT — Raymond Leroy Patterson, 67, died Feb. 18, at Shawnee Mission Hospital, Marian.
He was born May 27, 1943 in Rozel, the son of Guy and Velma Balman Patterson.  He was a resident of Burdett since 1974, recently moving to Olathe and was the past superintendent at Pawnee Heights School District at Rozel and Burdett.
He was a member of Faith Fellowship Church rural Burdett, Burdett Lions Club, Kansas High School Athletics Association, past Jordaan Foundation Scholarship Committee, and the Citizen Revue Board both of Larned.
On June 7, 1964 he married Jane E. Shank at Burdett.  She Survives.
Other survivors include one son, Grant and wife Sheri, Redondo Beach, Calif.;  one daughter, Deanna Chan, and husband Benton, Overland Park;  two brothers, Harold, Burdett and Keith, Rozel;  four sisters, Roberta Ingold, and Mary Stock both of Fisher, Ill., Myra Bennett, Chandler, Ariz. and Sue Selby, Houston, Texas; and five  grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Joe.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, at Pawnee Heights Gym, Rozel, with Pastor Irv Jennings Presiding.  Friends may call from noon until 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at Morell Funeral Home, Larned.
