HOISINGTON — Regene A. “Jean” Finn, 86, died Dec. 2, 2014 at Locust Grove Village, LaCrosse.
She was born March 23, 1928 at Hoisington, the daughter of Reglin and Margaret (Poore) Valerius.
She married Bob “Slats” Finn Aug. 21, 1948 at Hoisington. He died March 5, 1999.
Jean was as a Homemaker and had worked as a telephone operator, and also for Fuller Brush and Town and Country Market Mrs. Finn was a lifetime Hoisington resident. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Hoisington, and the VFW Auxiliary. Jean was an avid sports fan rooting for the Royals and K-State.
Survivors include three sons, Greg Finn and wife Marcia, Manhattan; Randy Finn and wife Becky, Ulysses; Calvin Finn and wife Debbie, Hoisington; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Linda Finn; and Mary Jane Eastwood.
She was preceded in death by a son, Steve Finn; three brothers, Bud Valerius, Bob Valerius, Gary Valerius; and three sisters, Irene Valerius, Glenn Wilson, Marion Wilson.
Funeral Service is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Hoisington with Rev. Kris Brinlee officiating. Interment will be at Hoisington Cemetery.
Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with family to receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home.
