Richard Arthur Woolf, age 84, passed away Sept. 19, 2018, at Leisure Homestead, Stafford. He was born on Dec. 14, 1933, at Chillicothe, Mo., the son of Kermit A. and Sarah E. (Mumpower) Woolf. A resident of Great Bend for 20 years, he was a retired operations worker for Braniff Airlines and a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his brother Charles L. Woolf (Elaine), Macksville, Kan.; sister-in-law Eda Woolf-Nixon, Claflin/Sawyer; nephews Steve Woolf (Kellie), Woodland Park, Co., Gregory Woolf (Shelly), Brewster, Kan., Shane Woolf (Erin), Macksville, Kan., Dallas Woolf (Kim), Stafford, Kan.; nieces Ginger Thill (Mike), Ellinwood, Sara Woolf, Wichita, Kan.; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert S. Woolf.
Private family service will be held at a later date in Claflin, Kan.
