BRANSON, Mo. — Robert C. Sloan Sr., 74, of Branson, passed away Friday, Oct. 8, in Branson. Private services will be held at a later date. The body has been cremated under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home, Branson.

Robert Carlton Sloan Sr. was born April 6, 1936, in Great Bend. He graduated from Great Bend High School. Robert had moved to Phoenix, Ariz., before moving to Santa Fe, N.M., where he owned and operated his own Pontiac-Buick-GMC dealership. He moved to the Branson area about 25 years ago from Santa Fe, after retiring.

Robert is survived by three sons, Robert Sloan Jr. and wife June of Reeds Spring, Mo., Scott Sloan of Great Bend, and Dustin Sloan of Branson; one daughter, Darcee Ranker and husband Phil of San Diego, Calif.; one sister, Sharon Allan of Tulsa, Okla.; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105-1942 or to St. Johns Hospice Care, 1570 W. Battlefield Suite No. 110, Springfield, MO 65807.
