SHAWNEE — Robert E. "Bob" Legleiter, 65, passed away May 14, in Shawnee, surrounded by family.
He was born on June 30, 1945, in Rush County, the youngest son of Marcellus A. "Matt" and Irene R. (Basgall) Legleiter. He was a graduate of Otis-Bison High School, and a long-time resident of Great Bend, Wichita, and most recently Shawnee, where he was owner/operator of CBF Mailing Services in Kansas City, Mo., with his wife of almost 30 years, LuAn (Baumann) Legleiter. She survives.

Survivors include his wife, LuAn Legleiter; three children, David Jackson, and wife Anita, Conroe, Texas; Robyn Jackson Garrison, and husband Jim, Wichita; and Dawn Jackson Ingram, and husband Jason, Maize; his siblings, Cletus Legleiter, and wife Rita, St. Marys; LaRue Maneth, Great Bend; La Vonne McCarty, Mesa, Ariz.; Judy Weiser, Phoenix, Ariz.; and five grandchildren, Joshua Jackson, Olivia Jackson, Rebekah Hoch, Taylor Ingram and Brady Ingram; his devoted Shih Tzu, Tiffany; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Monday, May 23, at the Maize United Methodist Church, 208 E. Central St. in Maize. Inurnment with military honors will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Wichita.
