WICHITA — Robert L. “Bob” Reif, 79, passed from this earth on Jan. 9, 2014.
He was born March 15, 1934 in Kansas City, and raised in Beaver. On April 4, 1959, he married Katherine Weiser at Holy Family Church in Odin. He was a retired mechanic and purchasing agent. He loved his family tremendously and had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed antique cars, hunting and all kinds of sports.
Mr. Reif was a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine M. (Weiser) Reif; children, Rhonda (Brad) Nill, Olathe; Nancy (Kevin) Gehrer, Robert “Rob” (Jocelyn) Reif, Jr., and Patricia (Brett) Wegeng, all of Wichita; a brother, Marvin Reif, Colwich; and grandchildren, Bryce, Jordan, and Taylor Nill, Jessica, Emily, and Kristina Gehrer, Allison and Sarah Reif, Nathan, Benjamin, and Samuel Wegeng.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Anna Reif; and brother, Julius Reif.
A Rosary will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, and a Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, both at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Wichita.
