SALINA — Ron W. Schmutz, 51, passed away May 10. Born Oct. 13, 1960, in Junction City, he was the son of Leland and Luella (Fehlman) Schmutz.
Survivors include his wife Jan, of the home; two sons, Stetson and Justin, both of Salina; mother, Luella Schmutz of Wakefield; one brother, Gary Schmutz and wife Jill, of Wakefield; aunt, Donna Schmutz of Junction City; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lonnie and Martha McCarty of Ellinwood; brothers-in-law, Michael McCarty and wife Robin of Great Bend and Kevin McCarty and wife Michelle of Shallowater, Texas; and niece and nephew, Hanna and Heath McCarty, of Shallowater, Texas.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, at the First Covenant Church, 2526 E. Magnolia Road in Salina. Burial will be at the Alida-Zion Evangelical Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Ron Schmutz Children’s College Education Fund, and left in care of Ryan Mortuary.
