Rose M. Rein, 76, passed away on April 26, 2022, at University of Kansas Health System - Great Bend Campus, Great Bend, Kan. She was born on Aug. 30, 1945, at Park City, Kan., to Edward and Betty Uncapher. Rose married Robert Rein, Sr. on Sept. 21, 1962, at McCracken, Kan.

Coming from McCracken, Rose was a Great Bend resident for over 50 years. She worked for Kirby Co. of Great Bend as a bookkeeper, along with being a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Rein of the home; three sons, Robby Rein and Randy (Haley) Rein, both of Great Bend, and Russell (Sherry) Rein of Olathe; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister Becky Hill of Wichita. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Don and Danny Uncapher.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Bryant Funeral Home. Inurnment will take place at McCracken Cemetery at a later date. Memorials have been designated to the Rose Rein Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
