Roxie Bernice Swinger, 94, died on June 24, 2015, at Great Bend Regional Hospital. Born on April 4, 1921, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., she was the daughter of Alonso Noel Trent and Amy Garrett Trent. On July 20, 1940, she married Jack E. Swinger in Wichita.Survivors include five daughters, Jacqueline Roxann Smith-Noel, Diane Marie Waller, Virginia Leigh Brosius, Deborah Susanne Jonas, and Sheila Irene Pfister; nine grandchildren, Richard Breckenridge, Ryan Drudge, Heather Robinson, Brenda Beloosesky, M.D., Amy Zobel, Laura Pfister, Jerry Christenbury, Terry Wood, and Ashley Carolyn Smith; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
