S. Larry Edwardson, 79, died Dec. 10, 2016, at Cherry Village in Great Bend. Born May 11, 1937, at Crisfield, MD., he was the son of Christian F. and Grace (Hoffmeyer) Edwardson. On May 15, 1965, he married Carole Powell, in Wilmington, DE. He retired from a long career as a Certified Financial Planner with Waddell & Reed Inc.
Survivors include wife Carole of the home; daughter Amy Edwardson of Wichita; son David Edwardson of Great Bend; sister Lorna Mitten of Milford, DE.; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by daughter Susan; two brothers Christian and Edward; and sister Lorraine.
Private family inurnment will be held at a later date. There will be no viewing or visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials have been established with the Salvation Army or The Storm Special Olympics in Great Bend, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
