PARKERVILLE — Sandra Dee McKenzie, 49, of Parkerville, died July 13 at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka. Born June 19, 1963, in Kansas City she was the daughter of Guy and Beverley (Dwyer) Werle. On Oct. 27, 2001 she married Eric McKenzie. She was employed by the Geary County Sheriffs Department in Junction City, as an Administrative Assistant.
Survivors include her husband Eric, of the home; son Shawn Werle of Wichita; two step-sons, AJ Wagoner of Lawrence and Brandon McKenzie of St. George; brothers Stephen Werle of Wichita and Paul Werle of Ogden; sisters Adrienne Johnson of Manhattan, Donna Selle of Great Bend and Elizabeth Robison, of New Zealand. She was preceded in death by her parents,
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the White City United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Parkerville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. on Monday at the United Methodist Church of White City. Memorial contributions may be made to Relay for Life in care of  the funeral home.
