Stella Mae Keith, 59, died Aug. 17 at Great Bend Regional Hospital. She was born June 11, 1952 at Great Bend, the daughter of Abe and Mary (Washington) Reed

She married Rev. Leroy L. Keith Oct. 5, 1968 at Great Bend. She worked for K-Mart and Dollar General Stores and was a paraprofessional for ESL at Great Bend High School.

Mrs. Keith was a lifetime Great Bend and a member of First Baptist Church, Great Bend.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Leroy L. Keith, of the home; her Mary L. Reed of Great Bend; one son Leroy Keith, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Kansas City, Mo.; one daughter, Sandra K. Keith of Wichita; five brothers, Sebon L. Reed of Great Bend, Tommy L. Reed of Hays, Willie E. Reed of Great Bend, Abe Reed, Jr. of Houston, Texas; Kenneth D. Reed of Great Bend; seven sisters: Bobby J. Bradshaw of Jetmore, Varna "Bunny" Johnson of Great Bend, Vera L. Reed of Great Bend, Elizabeth "Tootsie" Broils of Topeka Betty J. Underwood of Great Bend, Linda K. Johnson of Great Bend and Lannie R. Reed of Irving, Texas; five grandchildren: Zachary Keith, Madison Keith, Aaron Smith, Jeremiah Keith, and Aleace Keith; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, James Emerson.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday at Bryant Funeral Home. The officiant will be The Reverend James Wesley Keith. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Great Bend.

Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, in care of Bryant Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net
