Susan Rae “Bussman” Pace, age 65, passed away on Thursday, Jan 18, 2018 in Wichita, KS. She was a retired school teacher in the Tulsa school district. Susan was born on November 28, 1952 in Tulsa, OK, the daughter of R.F. “Pete” and Virginia Caroline Glenn bussman. She was a member of the Turley United Methodist Church. Susan grew up riding horses and was involved in the Turley Roundup Club And The O.F.C. Roughriders who performed at many rodeos throughout the years. Her main passion in life was teaching, she loved the children and taught until her battle with M.S. Forced her to take early retirement. Susan is survived by a brother; Rick (Derinda) Bussman Of Great Bend, KS, And 2 sisters; Barbara (Mike) Ast Of Garden Plain, Ks., And Dee Dee (Kevin) Harrison of Buford, Ga. She is also survived by 5 nephews; Ryan and Derrick Bussman, Robert and Jeffrey Ast, and Corey Harrison and a Niece, Katie Harrison. She will be missed by her family and many friends who she grew up with, those that rode horses with her, and those she taught with. A memorial has been established with the Multiple Sclerosis Assn. Services will be held Monday, Jan. 22, 2018 At 11:00 at Wulf-Ast Mortuary in Garden Plain, Ks. Graveside service will be on Monday, Jan. 22, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. At Great Bend Cemetery, Great Bend, Ks.
