Terry Allen Holopirek, 62, died Sept. 8, 2016 at his home in Great Bend. He was born March 28, 1954 at La Crosse, the son of Alvin G. “Al” and Irene Marie (Gleissner) Holopirek. He was a fabricator for KMW Ltd. A loving father and grandfather, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and collecting guns, coins and stamps.
Survivors include his former wife, Alice; one daughter, Diana Miller and her husband Matt of Abilene; one brother, Perry Holopirek and his wife Karla of Great Bend; one sister, Linda Beyer and husband James of Hutchinson; and one grandson, Colin Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Jeanette Holopirek.
Vigil service with Rosary will be at 7 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016 at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Monday, Sept. 12, 2016 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Timken with Father Matthew Kumi celebrating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Enterprise. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016 at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to Holopirek Scholarship Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
