GREAT BEND – Terry Joe Wheeler, 53, died Sept. 19, 2013 at his home in Great Bend.
He was born July 4, 1960 at Great Bend, the son of Ivan A. and Bonnie Jo (Decker) Wheeler.
He married Peggy Burroughs Feemster March 28, 1981 at Great Bend. He worked for Wheeler Drywall and later T&P Drywall. Mr. Wheeler was a lifetime Great Bend resident.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Wheeler, of the home; three daughters, Roxanne Venable and her husband Bill, Assaria; Shawna Wheeler, of the home; and Trisha Wheeler and her fiancé Cody Keeton, Great Bend; two brothers, Jerry Wheeler, Great Bend; Gary Paul Wheeler, Rose Hill; two sisters, Patricia Ellis, San Bernadino, Calif.; and Debbie Eliason, Ellsworth; three grandchildren; and a dialysis companion, his dog, Peanut.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda Sue Wheeler, and a brother, Miles Wheeler.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
