HUDSON — Terry Spradley, 56, died July 4, 2016, at his home in rural Hudson.
He was born Sept. 7, 1959, the son of Janice (Spradley) Eldredge, in Nebraska City, Neb.
Terry was the editor of The St. John News. He loved the country life and his two dogs, Hudson and Lightning. Terry enjoyed anything outdoors, especially bicycling. He served in the United States Army from 1977 to 1980.
Survivors include a daughter, Antoinette “Natalie” Spradley and Matthew Gibson, Shawnee; brothers, Tim Eldredge, Whitewater; Todd Eldredge and wife Melinda, McPherson; mother, Janice Eldredge, Lindsborg; a grandson, Matthew Gibson Jr., Shawnee; and nieces and nephews, Austin, Alyssa, and Colten Eldredge.
Cremation has taken place.
A family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the American State Bank and Trust Hospitality Room, 216 N. Main, St. John; and from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the McPherson VFW, 120 S. Taft, McPherson.
Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
