OLATHE — Timothy Francis Barmann, 62, passed away at his home in Olathe, Kan. He was born May 20, 1956, at St. Joseph, Mo., the son of Francis and Jacqueline (Fristoe) Barmann. Tim married Kimberly Demel, May 1, 1993 in Olathe, Kan.
Tim enjoyed spending time with his family, going to the lake, hunting, playing volleyball in the pool, watching the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs.
Survivors include, wife, Kimberly of the home; two sons, Jason and wife Brenda Barmann of Tonganoxie and Ryan Barmann of Platte City, Mo.; two daughters, Nicole and Jamie Barmann of the home; brother, Paul and wife Theresa Wood; sister, Denise and husband Richard Hylton; sister-in-laws, Sandra and Lance Walters and Brenda Demel; brother-in-laws, Kevin Demel and Kelly and wife Glorimar Demel; parents-in-law, Robert and Rosemary Demel; granddaughter, Braelynn Barmann and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Francis Barmann; mother and step-father, Jacqueline and Joseph Wood; and a brother, David Barmann.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the home in Olathe on Sept. 15, 2018, from 2 to 5 p.m. The family suggests memorials be designated to the American Heart Association, in care of Bryant Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net.
