PEABODY — Twila M. Bedford, 80, of Peabody and formerly of Lehigh, died Nov. 29, 2016, at Harry Hynes Hospice, Wichita. She was a retired medication aide.
She was born May 5, 1936, in Larned, the daughter of Louis and Marguerite (Unruh) Boese. On Nov. 16, 1958, she married Earl L. “Tex” Bedford in Salina and he survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Debra Kay Anderson, Clifton and Diane Muzyka, Peabody; a sister, Genevieve (Freddie) Lyon, Newton, and two grandchildren. A son, Darrell, and brother, Ronald Boese, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, at the First Baptist Church, McPherson. Interment will be in the Lehigh Township Cemetery. A memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Hospice, in care of Olson’s Mortuary, Canton.
